Community Involvement

Morell Credit Union is an active participant in sponsorships in the communities in its service area. We are uniquely positioned to support community development through:

• Loans to owners and small businesses
• Investment to community projects
• Sponsorship of community activities and events  
• Employees active in the community as members of boards of trade, church groups, service organizations, charitable organizations, and numerous other activities.

Relay for Life

PEI Credit Unions are also the Provincial Event Sponsor for the Canadian Cancer Society's Relay for Life. There are four relays held across the province each year, and the Queen's County event is held in June at the Charlottetown Driving Park Entertainment Centre. The majority of Morell staff participate in the relay, raising thousands of dollars annually to fight cancer on Prince Edward Island.
